Ben is the founder of Freshwater Futures, a GenAI product and platform studio unlocking the latest GenAI technology for leading Australian brands in financial services, retail and higher education.

Ben has been at the forefront of software development for his entire career, pioneering methodologies from XP to DevOps and has spent the last 2 years deep-diving into Generative AI.

He has been a consultant, trainer, advisor, engineer and senior leader at prominent firms throughout Australia including Bunnings, REA, Domain, SEEK, ThoughtWorks and MYOB and has worked globally with Scout Group (Berlin) and TMX Group (London).
